ArchiHexago
ArchiHexago is short relaxing tile-matching game in which your goal is putting puzzle pieces on map in specific patterns so you can collect them and therefore get some points.
Tiles
In game you will run across different types of tiles - each type has It's own requirement which needs to be met for tiles of this type to disappear. Each time a group of tiles disappears you gain point for each tile and you gain extra point for every tile that was outside of minimum group size. If you manage to collect multiple groups at once the Score of your move is multiplied!
Quests
To spice up a gameplay you can complete quests which keep appearing as you play. Similarly to tiles, quests also have requirements you need to meet - but if you meet them instead of Score you receive Tokens. You might wonder what are they for? I present to you Special Actions!
Special Actions
Special Actions allow you to perform well... Special Actions in exchange for tokens. These actions include:
- Rerolling your current puzzle
- Removing chosen tile
- Placing any tile you want and where you want
- Saving current puzzle for later use
Special Actions aren't necessary to play the game, but when things get hot you will wish you had more tokens.
Islands
Game contains 8 predefined islands and each of them has 3 types of tiles. Apart from tile types islands also differ by size and obstacles which will make your life a little bit harder. To unlock next island you need to gain minimum 100 points on current island. In case you unlock all the maps you will gain ability to create and play custom islands.
Development
Gameplay-wise the game is almost finished. The game currently features 6 types of tiles and same amount of quests. But we might add more if inspirations strikes.
Appearance-wise we still need make UI and improve some models. Other than that there is still some polishing and marketing to do, so hopefully the game will release in the next 1-2 months.
Note
Due to graphical limitations of WebGL the game in browser looks slightly different than PC build, but gameplay-wise It's the same thing.
